A dosing aid is an auxiliary device (similar to a measuring cup ) for the correct dosage of a substance. Dosing aids are intended for liquid or solid substances and are often provided with a scale (length).

There are dosing aids u. A. for medicines, detergents (solid and liquid) and other chemical substances.

For detergents, dosing aids (for example in the form of a dosing ball) should not only be used for dimensions, but also for distributing the detergent in the washing machine and protecting the environment .

One of the criticisms of dosing aids is that they sometimes make correct dosing difficult because they are difficult to read and there is no classification.
