The Dr. Bock Industries AG is a German clothing manufacturer. The company, with its headquarters in Auetal (Lower Saxony) and other locations in Eastern and Southern Europe, primarily produces men's jeans and "sporty trousers" for brands in the upper price range such as Hugo Boss , Gant and Windsor .
In the 2015 financial year, the Dr. Bock Group generated sales of 30 million euros with around 1,600 employees. He produces around 1.8 million items of clothing annually.
history
According to the company, the origins of the company go back to 1984 when Dr. Dietrich Bock and Partner Unternehmensberatungsgesellschaft GmbH founded the company RHM (Rintelner Hosen Manufaktur). In the years 1992–2008 seven further subsidiaries with the same business purpose were established in Romania and the Ukraine . The creative fashion development has been taking place at RGT Italia SRL in Limena since 2013 .
In 2015 the Dr. Dietrich Bock and Partner Unternehmensberatungsgesellschaft GmbH into a stock corporation with the name Dr. Bock Industries AG converted. Since July 2016, the company's shares have been listed on the Third Market - an unregulated open market - on the Vienna Stock Exchange. The founder and main shareholder Dietrich Bock left the board shortly after the IPO .
Business areas
The company divides its business into three areas: The full production ( English garments ), the after-treatment ( treatments ) and the contract production ( minutes ) of pants. Full production accounted for 66% of sales in 2015. Post-treatment, i.e. washing, dyeing and applying special effects, accounted for 23% of sales, and contract manufacturing 11%.
