FCB is an advertising agency based in Chicago and New York that was founded as Lord & Thomas. The name FCB goes to the three former Lord - & - Thomas Manager Emerson H. F Oote, Fairfax C one and Don B elding back, which the company bought in 1942 renamed and Foote, Cone & Belding.

On June 1, 2006, the direct marketing specialist Draft Worldwide and the agency group FCB International merged. This resulted in Draftfcb Worldwide. Since March 2014 Draftfcb Worldwide is again called FCB. The agency is represented in more than 80 countries and employs over 8,000 people worldwide. The group belongs to the US holding Interpublic Group of Companies Inc. (IPG). The first German advertising agency, Central-Annoncen-Bureau William Wilkens, which was founded in 1876 by William Alexander Wilkens , has also merged into FCB .
