Three jump

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The three jump ( walz jump or three-jump ), also known as the cadet jump , is a jumping element in figure skating .

execution

The three jump is prepared by a Mohawk from right backwards outwards to left forwards outwards. In doing so, you go forwards on the left leg on the left knee and bend the leg, while the right free leg is stretched backwards. In the next step, the right free leg swings forward and upwards at the same time as the arms and the left standing leg pushes itself out of the knee into extension, with the weight on the front part of the foot. The jump is then made of the tooth . In the air, perform a half turn so that you land on the prong of the right leg and start a run on the right backwards outwards, with the left free leg being guided backwards and stretched.
