The Dresdner Factoring is a financial services institution (§ 1 para. 1a para. 9 KWG), the factoring serving as a financing alternative. The company, headquartered in Dresden, was founded in 1999 and has been the only listed factoring company in Germany since going public in April 2006. Through its new majority shareholder, abcfinance Beteiligungs AG, Cologne, Dresdner Factoring belongs to the scope of consolidation of the Wilh. Werhahn KG . On July 7, 2015, the company was merged with abcfinance Beteiligungs AG, based in Cologne, the remaining minority shareholders were compensated by squeeze-out and the listing was then suspended. The original Dresdner Factoring AG has thus expired. At the same time, the company name of abcfinance Beteiligungs AG was changed to "Dresdner Factoring AG". The operative business will be continued unchanged at the headquarters in Dresden.
