The Dresden Festival Orchestra ( DFO ) is an international ensemble founded in 2012 for the Dresden Music Festival under the direction of Ivor Bolton .

Sound carrier

In 2016 the Dresden Festival Orchestra released its first CD. Robert Schumann's cello concerto, Jan Vogler cello, and his 2nd symphony were recorded with sound engineers Andreas Neubronner and Marcus Heiland (tritone). Both works were composed in Dresden.
