Dropbear is a (also free ) alternative to the OpenSSH server and client. Dropbear was designed by Matt Johnston for work environments that have little memory and / or processor resources available (such as embedded systems ).

properties

Dropbear is a complete implementation of the SSH 2 protocol - both that of the client and the server. Version 1 of the SSH protocol was not implemented: This is used to maintain a lean execution program code, to save resources and to avoid known security risks in SSH version 1.
