Dropides (Archon 645/44 BC)

Dropides ( Greek Δρωπίδης Drōpídē ) was in the year 645/644 BC. BC Athenian archon . His name appears in the marble Parium as a date for the musician Terpandros . Practically nothing is known about his person. Presumably he was the grandfather of the archon of the same name from 593/92 BC. BC , one of Solon's companions .
