Throttle device

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The discharge throttling in rain basins requires a throttle device with high flow resistance and high operational reliability.

Two throttle devices , the throttle section and the vortex throttle , work without moving parts and are suitable for uncontrolled installation. The vortex throttle has a significantly higher flow resistance than the throttle section. In addition, the discharge error with the vortex throttle is approx. ± 3% smaller than that of the throttle section (approx. 10 to 30%).
