Please note the note on the applicable legal version.

The Pressure Vessel Ordinance (DruckbehV) was a German legal ordinance . The content of the ordinance included requirements for the construction and operation of pressure vessels, pressurized gas containers, filling systems and pipelines as well as their equipment.

It was supplemented in detail by technical rules :

  • TRB Technical Rules for the Pressure Vessel Ordinance - Pressure Vessels
  • TRR Technical Rules for Pressure Vessel Ordinance - Pipelines

The regulations contained in the Pressure Vessel Ordinance were harmonized in the course of a reorganization (separation of quality regulations and operating regulations) on the basis of the European Pressure Equipment Directive and transferred to the Industrial Safety Ordinance.

On January 1, 2003, the DruckbehV was repealed.
