Working principle

Compressed air escaping from a line laid under water rises in bubbles and carries water particles with it. This raises the water level in the area of ​​the bubbles reaching the surface. The water flows off to the side. A water flow is created, which flows against a possibly spreading oil slick and thus prevents it from spreading over the barrier.
