The Jabal Sauda ( 3,133 m ; Arabic جبل السودة, DMG Ǧabal as-Sauda ) is considered the highest mountain in Saudi Arabia .
The Jabal Sauda is located in the Sarawat Mountains around 13 kilometers northwest of Abha , the capital of the Asir province . The exact height and thus its status as the highest mountain in the country are disputed, there are also heights of only 3000 m and below given. The SRTM says about 2985 meters.
