Jamil al-Sayed

Jamil al-Sayed is a former Lebanese general .

Life

He was arrested in 2005 in connection with the attack on the vehicle convoy of the Lebanese ex-Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri and was released in 2009 due to a lack of suspicion. He obtained an arrest warrant in Syria against Detlev Mehlis , who until January 2006 was the chief investigator of the UN commission of inquiry into the Hariri case.
