Duandian kiln

The Duandian Kiln ( Chinese  段店窑 , Pinyin Duàndiàn Yao ) was a ceramic furnace in the time of the Tang to Song Dynasty and beyond in the area of the circle Lushan the prefecture-level city of Pingdingshan in central Chinese province of Henan . It is named after the place where it was found, the village of Duandian in the Liangyao community.

The site was explored by Chen Wanli in 1950 and excavated by Henan Province in 1990.

The Duandian Kiln site has been on the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-152) since 2006 .
