DubaiSat 2 is an earth observation satellite of the United Arab Emirates .

The satellite is the successor to DubaiSat 1 , was built like its predecessor by the South Korean Satrec Initiative GmbH in Daejeon and has a Korsch telescope with a resolution of 1 m.

It was launched on November 21, 2013 from the Jasny Cosmodrome with a Dnepr rocket together with the South Korean STSAT-3 and 31 other, mostly experimental secondary payloads from 17 countries into a sun-synchronous orbit .

Its COSPAR designation is 2013-066D.
