Duc (wagon)
The Duc is a carriage model . It is a light four-wheeled wagon with a low box, a comfortable bench and a folding top. The splashboard made of leather is pulled up. The box is basically like a Victoria, only the driver's seat is missing here .
A characteristic of the Duc is that a small seat for the servant is attached to an iron rod behind the box. The lightweight Duc models are self-propelled. These Ducs were preferred by women, the bigger ones mounted, i. H. à la Daumont .
The German car makers often referred to the Duc as a parking car, the English as a park phaeton.
