Dudu (Akkad)

Dudu was from about 2195 to 2174 BC. King of Akkad . Dudu took over and stabilized the empire, which had been weakened by the Gutä incursions occurring since Sar -kali-šarri . He was also able to carry out some campaigns in the regions around Girsu and Umma as well as to Elam . Several seal inscriptions and votive offerings have been found by him.
