Dulu battle

The so-called Dulu battle ( Chinese  渡 瀘 之 役  /  渡 泸 之 役 , Pinyin Dulu zhi yi or 渡 瀘 戰役  /  渡 泸 战役 , Dulu zhanyi ) took place in 801, the 17th year of the Zhenyuan era of the Tang Dynasty , held in Yunnan . In it, troops of the Arab Empire ( Dashi ) and the Tibetans ( Tubo ) surrendered to the Tang Army.

20,000 prisoners are said to have been taken, including many Muslims who later settled in the Sichuan and Yunnan areas .

In the Chinese historical works New History of the Tang Dynasty ( Xin Tangshu , j. 222: Nanzhao) and Ancient History of the Tang Dynasty ( Jiu Tangshu , j. 198: Dashi) the events are reported.
