The dupfing is a piece of clothing from the 14th century .

The dupfing is a belt that often consists of precious metal links. However, the belt did not go around the waist , but loosely encircled the loins. The dupfing was worn by both sexes.

Dupfing, hung with bells and bells, was called Dusing .
