Flow tank

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The flow tank is a drinking water reservoir for supplying settlements and regions. The term describes the exact arrangement of the elements of the supply chain: In the case of the continuous tank , the elevated tank is located between the pumping station and the supply area. In contrast to central tanks , in which the supply area is supplied from two sides, the area is only supplied from one side. This has the advantage that a continuous exchange of the water supply takes place and the area is always supplied with fresh water. However, this means that the entire amount of water must be raised. Furthermore, there are only minor pressure fluctuations in the supply area with the flow tank.
