The Dyan (also called Dan, Dian, Dya, Dyane and Dyanu ) is a Gur language from Burkina Faso .

Zanga is a dialect of Dyan, but it is sometimes so incomprehensible to standard Dyan speakers that it is also classified as an independent, closely related language.

The number of speakers has recently fallen sharply, as more and more speakers are adopting the Burkinabe official language, French , which is also the only language taught in schools.
