Dynamic parameters

Dynamic parameters is a collective term from measurement technology . The following are usually referred to as dynamic parameters :

• the signal-to-noise ratio (SRV or SNR)
• the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD)
• the Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR)
• the effective number of bits (ENOB).

They are used to determine the quality of data acquisition devices such as oscilloscopes and A / D converters as well as signal generators .
