Dynea Chemicals Oy (formerly Neste Chemicals Oy ) is a Finnish company based in Helsinki . The chemical company is mainly active worldwide with the production of synthetic resins based on urea , melamine and phenol . The company produces in 36 plants in 23 countries.

The main shareholders are the Industri Kapital 1997 Fund and the Industri Kapital 2000 Fund . The private equity -Unternehmensgruppe IK Investment Partners executes specializing in Northern Europe investment fund .

From 2002 to 2014 Dynea Erkner GmbH was a subsidiary of Dynea. Resins for technical applications were produced in Erkner near Berlin . This raw material is used for the production of friction linings, grinding disks, fiber fleeces for molded parts in the automotive sector, as well as resins for foam production.
