The E-Werk is an event hall in Saarbrücken - Burbach . The former industrial hall is a listed building . It was built in a steel frame construction with brick infills. Large arched windows on the narrow sides illuminate the building.

The hall was built in 1908 as the electric motor center II of the Burbacher Hütte . The turbines and generators for electricity generation were located in it.

After renovation, the hall was opened on December 9, 2000 as a EZ 2 hall as an event center. In 2001 it was renamed E-Werk . Concerts, trade fairs and congresses take place in the hall. The hall holds a total of 3500 people with an area of ​​1900 m². The hall is operated by the GIU Gesellschaft für Innovation und Unternehmensförderung mbH owned by the City of Saarbrücken .
