The e-beratungsjournal is a scientific journal for online advice and computer-mediated communication. The journal sees itself as a contribution to the Open Access initiative, i. H. all articles are freely available in full text and free of charge.

history

The journal was founded in 2005 by Gerhard Hintenberger and Stefan Kühne in Vienna.

The e-beratungsjournal deals with the topics of online counseling and computer-mediated communication (CvK) as well as with all areas of virtuality . The specialist journal appears as an online journal in two editions per year and is listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals and in the EZB Electronic Journal Library . All articles are freely and free of charge available on the homepage, the editions are sent by newsletter as soon as they appear. The editors of the e-advice journal are supported by a scientific advisory board, and all articles are also subjected to a peer review before publication .

Each issue is dedicated to a thematic focus, which is supplemented by basic articles, practical reports and reviews of current literature. In addition, unpublished works from universities and technical colleges are published (until 2/2012). Since the October 2012 edition there have been no more thematic focuses.
