EASDAQ

The EASDAQ (English, short for E uropean A ssociation of S ecurities D ealers A utomated Q uotation ) was a computer market , based in Brussels . It was founded in September 1994 as a European response to the American NASDAQ and was primarily intended to trade European technology stocks. There was even support from the EU Commission for this. In 2001 it was taken over by NASDAQ and renamed NASDAQ Europe . In November 2003 it was closed for failure.
