eAward trophy

The eAward is an Austrian business award for IT-related projects that has existed since 2005. It is awarded annually by the specialist publisher Report in cooperation with the Digital Austria platform of the Federal Chancellery . Chief editor Martin Szelgrad is the main organizer and moderator of the award ceremony.

Nomination and election

The eAward is one of the largest IT business prizes in Austria, and over 1,100 projects have been submitted since its inception. After the nomination phase, which begins every autumn, a jury consisting of IT managers, journalists and decision-makers selects the winners in seven categories:

The award is given to start-ups as well as work from business and administration that are considered digital showcase projects and drive technological innovation and ideas.
