CEBIUS

CEBIUS ( acronym for C omputer E insatz B earbeitungs-, I nformation and U nterstützungs- S ystem), the program stored in the central control center of the German Police ( emergency call was used 110) for receiving and checking the data. The previous system (CEBI) had been in use since the 1970s. CEBIUS itself was introduced at the end of the 1990s. In the meantime, CEBIUS has been replaced by the successor version eCEBIUS (extended computer deployment, processing, information support system).

The program supports the police officer in charge.
