EDAG prototype Keinath GT / C
The EDAG prototype Keinath GT / C is a concept car from the EDAG company.
The EDAG designers were responsible for designing the exterior of the Keinath GT / C. The study was commissioned by Horst Keinath Automobilbau. Sports cars like the Keinath were intended to appeal to an exclusive target group who expected traditional style elements. Therefore, the design was consciously based on the classic design language during development.
In 2011 the Keinath GT / C made its television debut on ZDF in the feature film "Erlkönig" .
Base
The technical basis was the Opel Omega . The self-supporting steel chassis was completed by an exterior designed entirely in GRP.
