The EFSA Journal is a free open access online journal for scientific publications by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). Subject areas include nutrition , animal health and animal welfare and plant health and pesticides .
A special feature of the journal is that no contributions from third parties are accepted and that articles do not undergo a peer review process. To ensure the quality of the articles, more than 20 experts from various subject areas are involved in each publication.
