The EGP ( Russian ЭГП ) is a graphite- boiling water - pressure tube reactor . It is the predecessor of the RBMK series.

The only reactors of this type are in the Bilibino nuclear power plant . There are four EGP-6 reactors (ЭГП-6) with a net output of 11 MW each and a gross output of 12 MW. 3 out of 4 reactors are in operation and supply electrical energy and district heating for the neighboring city of Bilibino.
