Vienna ice hockey championship

In the Vienna Championship in 1934 EK Brigittenau was assigned to group B-1 of the 2nd class. In the first season he was able to achieve first place in this group. Thus, he played in the 1935/36 season in three divided classes in the second division. With six clubs in the league, the best result could again be achieved and thus promotion to the 1st class of the Vienna ice hockey championship of the 1936/37 season was achieved. Here the Vienna AC , MEC, Merkur and St. Pölten were the opponents. Due to the good style of play, they could achieve second place this season . Since two clubs were able to rise to the league, the top division in the Vienna Ice Hockey Championship, for the 1937/38 season, the EKB was now one of the four best ice hockey clubs in Vienna. Due to the annexation of Austria in the spring of 1938, the championships could not be played completely.
