The ERC rain - more club takeover ice and roller sports club rain - is an ice hockey team from the Lower Bavarian district town rain . It was founded in 1980 and currently plays in the Bavarian ice hockey district league , the home venue is the Regen ice sports center, formerly the Franz-Zwiebel-Halle . The first team of the ERC used to take part in the fourth-highest division in Germany.

The year ERC Regen was founded was 1980. From 1981 to 1986 it was based in the Bavarian ice hockey regional league. The rise in the 85/86 season brought him to the Bayern League for the first time. From 1987/88 you took part in the game operation of the Bavarian Ice Hockey State League again until 91/92. The second promotion to the Bayernliga came in 1992, where the league was held until the 94/95 season and 94/95 even played in the fourth-class Bayernliga. There followed many years in the state and district league. In 2011 he was promoted to the regional league again and in 2013 to the fourth-class Bayernliga. After the 2013/14 season, the team rose within two seasons from the Bayern League via the Landesliga to the District League.
