IMMOBILIEN.NET was founded in 1994 as the first real estate platform in German-speaking countries by Alexander and Markus Ertler and has been part of ImmobilienScout24, a company of the Scout24 Group , since May 2014 .
The IMMOBILIEN.NET network is one of the most visited real estate websites in Austria. In January 2010, 283,181 unique clients ( ÖWA ), 618,947 visits and 13,791,462 page impressions were recorded. According to the ÖWA Plus study 2009-II, immobilien.net ranks 19th with 3.4% of the total reach of roof-top offers in Austria.
A total of around 61,000 property advertisements are online every month (as of March 2010). Advertisements on immobilien.net are subject to a charge.
