EUROTOX
EUROTOX is the European umbrella company in which both European toxicologists and European national societies for toxicology are united. EUROTOX was founded in Zurich in 1962 as the European Society for the Study of Drug Toxicity . Later the name was changed.
The association, based in Basel, has around 200 members.

Trade journals
EUROTOX publishes the journal Toxicology Letters . From 1978 to 1998 a supplement volume on Archives of Toxicology was published once a year with its own ISSN no. (0171-9750), in which the proceedings of the EUROTOX congress were published.
