With a little play on words , the European Commission launched the EU tube on YouTube on June 29, 2007 in order to make European issues accessible to a wider public, and above all to young EU citizens. EU tube is available in English, French and German. The purpose of this platform is to bring Europe closer to the user in pictures and sound.
