Eamonn Darcy (born August 7, 1952 ) is an Irish professional golfer . In 1968 he switched to the professional camp. He caught the eye on the tour with his individual swing technique, which contradicted any textbooks on golf. Nevertheless, Darcy represented Europe several times in the Ryder Cup and can look back on 15 tour victories. In 1991, he finished fifth in The Open Championship.
