EasyNumber

EasyNumber (short for " E nterprise A ccess Sy stem number " (Number)) is introduced in 2007, identification code of a business entity, awarded by the EasyNumber company , a joint venture of the company Creditreform and Coface .

It is allocated sequentially to all private or public organizations, local or international companies or service companies, without reference to the country of origin or industrial sector.

The international identification number "EasyNumber" is based on many international identification systems / business identification numbers , such as B. in Germany the tax number .

Identification technique and structure

This tool is designed to simplify efficient business management. The identification number supplements existing national identification systems and is synchronized with them

It is a 19-digit number with the following structure:

  • the first 14 digits are assigned by the EasyNumber company: 12 ascending + 2 control codes
  • the last 5 digits identify the company

Degree of prevalence / recognition

Introduced in June 2007, the Easynumber is recognized by the BIAA and FECMA institutions and meets the requirements of the European Commission (CEN working group agreement, November 2009). As of September 2010, around 66 million companies received an Easynumber.
