Easy Writer is a first for the Apple II developed word processing . It was developed in 1979 by John T. Draper's company Cap'n Software in the Forth programming language and was the first program of its kind for the Apple II. Later, Easywriter was also ported to the IBM PC and was launched in 1981 with the PC as a bundle in the Version 1.0 delivered.
