The Ebbw Vale Rugby Football Club is a rugby union -Verein that in the Swalec Championship , the second division in the Welsh league system, plays. The home games are played at Eugene Cross Park in Ebbw Vale in the County Borough of Blaenau Gwent . The association was founded in 1879. Since 2003 the club has provided players for the Newport Gwent Dragons , one of four Welsh teams in the multinational Magners League .
