The owner-managed family company offers complete solutions from the annealing unit to material handling and integrated process automation.
In the main plant in Leonding , 2,500 tons of steel and high-temperature special materials are processed into industrial furnace systems of various sizes for different areas of application.
history
Founded in 1948 as "Elektrowärmebau Ing. Josef Ebner" by Josef Ebner, construction plans for electrically heated ovens were first drawn up. In the years that followed, the company Ebner Industrieofenbau, which emerged from this, presented various technical innovations. (e.g. 1958 the world's first roller-hearth furnace system with vacuum lock, first annealing line for stainless steel strip, 1971 first steel strip tempering line with metal bath cooling technology).
In 1972 the company introduced the HICON / H2 technology , which allows a wide variety of solutions for heat treatment.
In 1987 the subsidiary Ebner Furnaces, Inc. in Ohio / USA started operations, 10 years later Ebner Industrieofenbau opened a representative office in China and a service base in Taiwan. A subsidiary was founded in China in 2004 and in India in 2009.
