Ebrima AT Jammeh

Alhaji Ebrima Ansu Tamba Jammeh commonly known as "EJ" (* 1985 in Yira Kunda ) is Seyfo in the West African state of Gambia .

Life

Jammeh is the grandson of Mama Tamba Jammeh (1890–1987). He attended Illiassa, Kaiaf and Kinteh Kunda Janneh Yaa Primary School and then Armitage High School . He then worked for the Livestock Marketing Board, which he gave up in favor of a career in international procurement and went to Germany and England. In Great Britain he worked as a protocol officer in the Sudanese embassy. Later, when he returned to Gambia, he worked as a customs broker and international procurement agent.

With effect from October 14, 2009 Jammeh was appointed successor to Alhaji Foday Sarr Jammeh , who died in July 2009, as Seyfo (also the term chief is common) of the Upper Baddibu district. Starting around 2012, Jammeh served as Secretary General of the National Council of Seyfolu .
