Echo is the name of a natural monument and lookout point in the Zwickau district of Rottmannsdorf in the district of Zwickau .

Details

The natural monument consists of seven circular winter linden trees and was declared a natural monument in 1964, whereby the age of the group of trees was estimated to be around 100 years. There is also a viewpoint with benches at this point.

Earlier names

The lookout point was formerly named "Alberthöhe" after King Albert of Saxony (1873–1902) . From 1951 to 1994 the place was named "August-Bebel-Höhe" after the social democrat of the same name (1840-1913).
