from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eckhard von Oldendorp (born before 1389; died between 1408 and 1417) was a German canon who served in Verden and Schwerin from 1390 to 1403 and was canon of Lübeck from 1403 to 1408 .

Life

Eckhard von Oldendorp was from February 27, 1389 to February 1, 1403 canon in Minden Cathedral in East Westphalia . From 1372 to 1381 he was also a provost of Minden. On February 27, 1389, we find Eckhard as a papal collector , as a money collector, for the Archdiocese of Magdeburg . From October 9, 1390 to August 4, 1404 Eckhard was archdeacon in Modestorp. On July 11, 1401, the parish of Modestorp was also in his possession.

From October 9, 1390 to February 1, 1403 he was Canon of Verden, from 1390 onwards he was also called Canon of Schwerin.

Eckhard von Oldendorp can be traced back to Lübeck canon from February 1, 1403 to May 5, 1408. He must have died before December 7th, 1417, because at that time his Minden benefices had already been given elsewhere.
