Eckhart and Oskar are fascinated by what the fortune teller Madame Thel can do and foresee with her crystal ball and show at Crumbfest Cove. They want to do something like this themselves and come to different experiences and conclusions. Oskar thinks a bowl could reveal his future to him. Eckhart, however, believes that you have to take your fate into your own hands without the help of magic and the like.

The series first aired on TeleToon on September 8, 2000 . The special episode Das Krümelfest im Mäusenest (original: The True Meaning of Crumbfest) had already been broadcast on December 25, 1999.
