Edelstein , initially Edelstein-Roman , was a series of novels with local novels , the reprints of which are still published today.

Series progress

The series started in 1953 under the title Edelstein-Roman in Rastätter Zauberkreis-Verlag . Initially, 803 volumes appeared under this title, until 1971 the series was renamed Edelstein , initially with the old name as a secondary title. The initial subtitle A mountain novel from the Zauberkreis-Verlag was omitted when the Zauberkreis-Verlag was taken over by Erich Pabel Verlag . The series was discontinued in 1997. With 2091 volumes and a running time of 44 years, the Edelstein novel is one of the longest-running magazine novels. A new edition started as "Edelstein-Roman Neuauflage" with volume 788 in 1971. After volume 796, the novel was dropped from the series title. The adjustment took place in 1974 with band 923.

In 1997 the Kelter-Verlag took over all rights to the women's novels from the publishing union Pabel-Moewig. As a gemstone mountain novel with the subtitle with home in the heart , the series started again there. In 2004 the series was discontinued after only 56 volumes. Immediately afterwards the series started again as a large band from Edelstein Heimatromane . Five novels were put together. Both novels from the original series and novels from the Kelter-Verlag series were published. After 90 volumes, the series was discontinued in 2011. The publisher then started Edelstein again on August 16, 2011 as an anthology with three novels each.

Authors

A large number of well-known and unknown authors wrote for the two novel series, whose novels were not closely related. This included Rosemarie Forstmaier and as Carla Louis writing Liselotte Hesp .
