Edem Atovor (born April 10, 1994 in Accra , Ghana ) is a Ghanaian soccer player.

Career

society

Atovor started her career in 2005 with the Ghatel Ladies in Cape Coast , where she moved up to the senior team in 2007. After three years for the Ghatel Ladies, in Ghana's top division, she switched to the Cape Coast Vodafone Ladies. After a season in the Zone Three Women's League for the Vodafone Ladies, she moved to city rivals Lady Strikers in 2011. There she could not cope and therefore moved at the beginning of the 2012 season on loan from the Lady Strikers to their former youth club Cape Coast Ghatel Ladies. This season she celebrated her most successful season personally and at the end of the season she was nominated for the Shield National Player Award as one of the 3 best Most Valuable Players of the season. At the subsequent awards at the State Banquet Hall in Accra , she was honored with a Shield NP Award as Most Dedicated Female Player. Then she returned to the Lady Strikers.

National team

Atovor competed in the 2008 U-17 Women's World Cup and the Black Princess in the 2010 U-20 Women's World Cup. She has been the senior national team of Ghana since November 2011 .
