Edificio Palacio Piria

The Edificio Palacio Piria - not to be confused with the Palacio Piria - is a building in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo .

The building, erected as a result of a building permit from 1928, is located in the Ciudad Vieja on Calle Treinta y Tres 1328-1338 between Sarandí and Buenos Aires streets . The architects of the Edificio Palacio Piria, which originally functioned as a residential and commercial building, were Albérico Isola and Guillermo Armas . Currently (as of 2011) the ground floor is used for business purposes, while offices are located on the upper floors. The 16 meter high, six-storey building with the French Art Déco facade architecture covers a floor area of ​​804 m².
