Edificio San José

The Edificio San José is a building in the Uruguayan capital Montevideo .

The building, planned in 1934 and constructed the following year, is located in Barrio Centro on Calle San José 979–985 between Julio Herrera y Obes and Wilson Ferreira Aldunate . The architects J. Etchebarne and E. Ciurich were responsible for the construction . The Edificio San José is designed as a residential and commercial building and is architecturally assigned to the modern age .
