from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The edict against Origenem (Latin, "against Origen ") from 543 represents the conclusions of the Liber adversus Origenem of Emperor Justinian I , in which he refers to a council letter of the Egyptian bishops from 400 AD. This edict is authoritative because it condemns the doctrine of all salvation, the doctrine of the apocatastasis . It was confirmed by the 2nd Ecumenical Council of Constantinople (553).
